More than 100 vehicles work in the Antarctic, doing scientific research, for the following countries:

USA (National Science Foundation)

India

Many of these vehicles are used for travel and transporting supplies to and from each research station. One PistenBully can pull 3 sleds full of supplied goods with a gross weight of 35-40 tons (80,000 lbs)! Tualatin is a suburb of Portland and is ideally situated to service our ski area and utility customers in Washington, Oregon Alaska and the Antarctic. This 6000+ square foot facility is brand new and is equipped with parts warehouse, service shop and office space.

A strong team is in place to provide product and service support. Colin Hales has joined the PistenBully team as the regional manager for our PDX facility in Tualatin. Colin has over 16 years experience as an OEM product rep in the snowcat industry. Diana Thurston handles parts and administration and comes from the greater Portland area. Field service technicians are also in place and carry many years in the industry.
