South Pole PistenBully Fleet

A portion of the fleet that works on the "ice"

Transporting supplies and fuel to research stations

More than 100 vehicles work in the Antarctic, doing scientific research, for the following countries:

Germany
France
Italy
New Zealand
Korea
USA (National Science Foundation)
Argentina
India

Many of these vehicles are used for travel and transporting supplies to and from each research station. One PistenBully can pull 3 sleds full of supplied goods with a gross weight of 35-40 tons (80,000 lbs)! No matter if on drift snow or on blue ice, the PistenBully always keeps its high traction and excellent climbing ability. Due to the light weight vehicle on its wide tracks guarantees that the snowcat can cope with all snow conditions without problems.

Just another way that PistenBully steps up to the plate to assists researchers in their quest to understand climate changes and global warming.
